Traditional Culture Week
On 21st – 25th
November, 2011 at M Building 1st Floor, students from faculty of law organized an event called
Traditional Culture Week. They invited the native tribes of Banten Kidul. In
this event the native tribes of Banten Kidul presented their culture such as
weaving, Kris, and other handmade. Some of those things are sold, and some of
them are just exhibited.
This event attracted for both students and lecturer from the
whole campus, not only from the faculty of law. Friendly attitude of the native
tribes also made the visitor feel really pleased. Students from faculty of law and
the native tribes also entertained the visitors with songs that they sang with
traditional instruments.
And the most important thing is we can get the sacred Kris! This is amazing, isn’t it?? But hold on a
second, aaahhh, it just the replica of the sacred Kris that we can bought. The
real sacred Kris is contained poison. So, becareful!
